RESUMO

Organic self-assembled molecules (OSAMs) based hole transporting materials play a pivotal role in achieving highly efficient and stable inverted perovskite solar cells (IPSCs). However, the reported carbazol-based OSAMs have serious drawbacks, such as poor solubility in alcohol solution, worse matched energy arrangement with perovskite, and limited molecular species, which greatly limit the device performance. To address above problems, a novel OSAM 4-(3,6-glycol monomethyl ether-9H-carbazol-9-yl) butyl]phosphonic acid (GM-4PACz) was synthesized as hole-transporting material by introducing glycol monomethyl ether (GM) side chains at carbazolyl unit. GM groups enhance the surface energy of Indium Tin Oxide (ITO)/SAM substrate to facilitate the nucleation and growth of up perovskite film, suppress cation defects, release the residual stress at SAM/perovskite interface, and evaluate energy level for matching with perovskite. Consequently, the GM-4PACz based IPSC achieves a champion PCE of 25.52%, a respectable open-circuit voltage (VOC) of 1.21 V, a high stability, possessing 93.29% and 91.75% of their initial efficiency after aging in air for 2000 h or tracking at maximum power point for 1000 h, respectively.

RESUMO

Developing an additive to effectively regulate the perovskite crystallization kinetics for the optimized optoelectronic properties of perovskite film plays a vital role in obtaining high efficiency and stable perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Herein, a new additive is designed and directly synthesized in perovskite precursor solution by utilizing an addition reaction between but-3-yn-1-amine hydrochloride (BAH) and formamidinium iodide. It is found that its product may control the intermediate precursor phase for regulating perovskite nucleation, leading to advantageous 2D perovskite to induce growth of perovskite along the preferred [001] orientation with not only released lattice strain but also strong interaction with perovskite to passivate its surface defects. By taking advantage of the above synergistic effects, the optimized PSC delivers an efficiency of 25.19% and a high open-circuit voltage (VOC) of 1.22 V. Additionally, the devices demonstrate good stability, remaining over 90% of their initial efficiencies under ambient atmosphere conditions for 60 days, high temperature of 85 °C for 200 h, or maximum power point tracking for 500 h.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Cognitive frailty (CF) is an important geriatric syndrome and is reversible. It is crucial to develop preventive interventions for CF. We aimed to explore the associations between CF and its associated factors in Chinese aged 45 years and above. METHODS: Based on the available data of 3 waves in China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study from 2011 to 2015, 16,071 individuals aged 45 years and above from 3 waves were included. Based on the health ecology model, the associated factors were classified as downstream, midstream and upstream factors. Generalized hierarchical linear model including time level, individual level, and province level was applied to analyze the associations between factors and CF. RESULTS: Multilevel factors have different effects on physical and cognitive function. In the downstream, old age, female, underweight, chronic diseases, and depression were risk factors of reversible CF and potentially reversible CF, and overweight was their protective factor. In the midstream, short or long night sleep duration was their risk factor, and > 30 and ≤ 60 min afternoon naps, alcohol drinking, and participation in social activities were their protective factors. In the upstream, living in rural areas was their risk factor, and high educational level, household consumption and GDP per capita were their protective factors. CONCLUSIONS: Physical function and cognitive function are affected differently by multiple factors. The occurrence and development of physical frailty and cognitive impairment may have some common mechanisms. CF can be influenced by multilevel factors, and multilevel and comprehensive management of CF should be achieved. KEY POINTS: Cognitive frailty was correlated with multilevel factors, including downstream, midstream, and upstream factors. It is crucial to focus on individual interventions such as physiological factors, psychological factors and health behaviors, especially the elderly, women and those with depression. Socioeconomic status was associated with the lower prevalence of cognitive frailty.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Under the global risk of epidemic rebound of influenza after COVID-19 outbreak, the study aimed to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the seasonal influenza vaccine effectiveness (IVE) and to explore the potential effect modifiers. METHODS: We searched for test-negative design studies with IVE estimates published between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2022. We estimated pooled IVE using random-effects meta-analysis, and conducted meta-regression with study site, age, sex and comorbidity as explanatory variables. RESULTS: We identified 2429 publications and included 191 in the meta-analysis. The pooled IVE was 41.4 % (95 % CI: 39.2-43.5 %) against any influenza. For specific strains, the IVE was 55.4 % (95 % CI: 52.7-58.1 %) against A/H1N1, 26.8 % (95 % CI: 23.5-29.9 %) against A/H3N2, 47.2 % (95 % CI: 38.1-54.9 %) against B/Yamagata, and 40.6 % (95 % CI: 23.7-53.7 %) against B/Victoria, and the effectiveness against A/H3N2 was significantly lower than A/H1N1 (p < 0.0001) and B/Yamagata (p < 0.0001). The pooled IVE was 39.2 % (95 % CI: 36.5-41.9 %) in preventing influenza-associated outpatient visit and 43.7 % (95 % CI: 39.7-47.4 %) in preventing influenza-related hospitalization. The IVE against any influenza was 48.6 % (95 % CI: 44.7-52.2 %) for children aged < 18 years, 36.7 % (95 % CI: 31.9-41.1 %) for adults aged 18-64 years, and 30.6 % (95 % CI: 26.2-34.8 %) for elderly aged ≥65 years. Meta-regression revealed that the IVE was associated with the average age of study participants, in which both young adults [relative odds ratio (ROR) = 1.225, 95 % confidence interval (CI): 1.099-1.365, p = 0.0002] and elderly (ROR = 1.245, 95 % CI: 1.083-1.431, p = 0.002) manifested a significantly decreased effectiveness compared with children. CONCLUSIONS: Influenza vaccines provided moderate protection against laboratory-confirmed influenza and related outpatient visit and hospitalization. However, the effectiveness may vary substantially by virus type and age group, suggesting the necessity to tailor vaccination strategies especially for older individuals and against the A/H3N2 strain, and to promote annual immunization and annual analysis of vaccine effectiveness.

RESUMO

It is found that the disordered growth of bottom perovskite film deteriorates the buried interface of perovskite solar cells (PSCs), so developing a new material to modify the buried interface for regulating the crystal growth and defect passivation is an effective approach for improving the photovoltaic performance of PSCs. Here, we developed a new ionic liquid crystal (ILC, 1-Dodecyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate) as both crystal regulator and defect passivator to modify the buried interface of PSCs. The high lattice matching between this ILC and perovskite promotes preferential growth of perovskite film along [001] direction, while the oriented ILC with mesomorphic phase has a strong chemical interaction with perovskite to passivate the interface defect, as a result, the modified buried interface exhibits suppressed defects, improved band alignment, reduced nonradiative recombination losses, and enhanced charge extraction. The ILC-modified PSC delivers a power conversion efficiency of 24.92 % and maintains 94 % of the original value after storage in ambient for 3000 h.

RESUMO

Some post-licensure studies have shown a potential increased risk of intussusception following vaccination with rotavirus vaccines. This is the first study that aimed to assess the incidence and risk of intussusception within 90 days after vaccination with RotaTeq in Chinese infants. A population-based birth cohort from 27th November 2018 to 30th June 2021 included all newborns in Ningbo city. The records of intussusception were identified through the ICD-10 code K56.1 or Chinese keywords "Chang Tao" from all hospital discharge records. Each episode was confirmed in line with the Brighton criteria, and only Brighton level 1 cases were included. The association of RotaTeq vaccination and intussusception was evaluated using the Poisson regression. A total of 108,405 eligible subjects from birth cohort were eligible, with 52.30% males. Among them, 26, 847 (24.77%) infants received at least one dose of RotaTeq, and 95.52% of them were fully vaccinated, with 76, 934 doses in total. After adjudication, none of the cases occurred post first, or second dose, the cumulative number of cases that occurred 1-7, 1-14, 1-21, 1-42, and 1-90 days post third dose was 0, 1, 1, 3, and 7, respectively. Adjusting for age, sex, birth year, birth season and location, the incidence rate ratio of intussusception after RotaTeq vaccination was 0.90 (90% two-sided CI: 0.46, 1.75). Increasing age and male gender were associated with higher risk of intussusception. In summary, no increased risk of IS was observed following 3 months of RotaTeq vaccination in this study.

RESUMO

Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women, with a high disease burden worldwide. Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination reduces HPV-related infection and associated cervical lesions and cancers. Few studies have explored HPV vaccination impact in real-world settings in China. This study aims to monitor HPV vaccine uptake and its effects on HPV-related diseases, evaluating vaccine effectiveness in a real-world context and complementing clinical trial results. Electronic health records (EHRs) from 2010 to 2020 from the Yinzhou Regional Health Information Platform (YRHIP) will be queried/extracted to identify and monitor HPV vaccine uptake in females aged 9-45 years, and HPV-related screening and prevalence (i.e., cervical HPV infection, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia [CIN] grades 1-3, and cervical cancer) in a cohort of females aged 9-70 years. Cervical cancer screening guidelines and expert consultation will be used for intra-database validation, to determine the best algorithm for identifying HPV-related disease. Pre-launch (2010-2016) and post-launch (2018-2020) periods are predefined. A time trend analysis will be performed to describe the vaccination impact on disease prevalence and, if prerequisite conditions are met, vaccine effectiveness will be computed using logistic regression, adjusting for age, calendar year, history of screening and HPV infection. Cohort study design, outcomes validation, data linkage, and multi-step statistical analyses could provide valuable experience for designing other real-world studies in the future. The study outcomes can help inform policy-makers about uptake and HPV vaccination policy in girls and women in Yinzhou District, and provide insights on progress toward achieving goals set by the World Health Organization.

RESUMO

Multilayer heterostructures composed of a substrate and an epitaxial film are widely utilized in advanced electronic devices. However, thermal bottlenecks constrain their performance and reliability, and efficient approaches to comprehensively measure the thermophysical properties of heterostructures are urgently needed. In this work, a pulsed thermoreflectance imaging (PTI) method is proposed, which combines the transient temperature mapping of thermoreflectance thermal imaging with transient pulsed excitation. By executing merely three transient tests, six thermophysical properties, including the film thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity, the substrate thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity, the film-substrate thermal boundary resistance, and the equivalent thermal conductivity of the insulating layer, can be simultaneously measured in a heterostructure sample. The proposed method applies a pulsed current excitation to a metal heater line on the sample surface and utilizes the thermoreflectance thermal imaging system to measure the temperature of different spatial regions on the sample surface at different time windows. The temporal and spatial variation information of the temperature field is then extracted and combined with finite element method inversion calculation to obtain the thermophysical properties of heterostructures. To validate the accuracy and reliability of this method, we conducted measurements on a GaN-on-SiC heterostructure sample and obtained thermophysical properties consistent with the representative literature data that have previously been reported. The proposed PTI method, characterized by its high sensitivity, demonstrates good efficiency and reliability in conducting comprehensive thermophysical property characterization of GaN epitaxial heterostructures.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: The 9-valent human papillomavirus (9vHPV) vaccine was introduced in China in 2018. This study was conducted to monitor the occurrence of new-onset autoimmune diseases (AIs) in Chinese women vaccinated with the 9vHPV vaccine and adverse pregnancy outcomes in infants born to mothers with inadvertent pregnancy exposure. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS: Women who received the first dose of the 9vHPV vaccine at age 16-26 years in Ningbo between January 2019 and March 2021 were monitored in the Ningbo Regional Health Information Platform. New-onset cases of seven pre-specified AIs diagnosed within six months after vaccination were collected. Cases of stillbirth and 23 major congenital anomalies diagnosed within three months of birth in target infants were collected. RESULTS: A total of 102,670 doses of the 9vHPV vaccine were administered to 41,609 women who had received no other HPV vaccine. New-onset AIs were diagnosed in 36 women, comprising 21 Hashimoto's, 11 Graves', and 4 uveitis disease cases. Among 50 women with maternal vaccination exposure, no stillbirths were observed. One case of microtia was observed. CONCLUSIONS: In this first post-marketing surveillance of the 9vHPV vaccine in China, no safety signals were identified when putting the results in context to published data.

RESUMO

Salmonella enterica serovar Pullorum (S. Pullorum) can regulate host immunity via special effectors that promote persistent infection and its intracellular survival. SteE as an anti-inflammatory effector is involved in the systemic infection of Salmonella in host macrophages. Macrophage activation can indirectly reflect the immune regulatory function of T helper type 1 (Th1)/T helper type 2 (Th2) cytokines. However, information concerning the regulation of Th1/Th2 cytokine expression by steE in S. Pullorum infection is limited. This study evaluates the effects of steE on the Th1/Th2 balance, STAT3/SOCS3 pathway, and NF-κB P65 activation in S. Pullorum-infected HD-11 cells and in chicken models. We demonstrated that steE diminished the expression of Th1-related cytokines (IFN-γ and IL-12) and promoted the expression of Th2-related cytokines (IL-4 and IL-10) in HD-11 cells and chicken models of S. Pullorum infection. SOCS3 silencing suppressed the function of steE in HD-11 cells and led to the imbalance of Th1/Th2-related cytokines. SteE promoted SOCS3 expression by activating STAT3 in HD-11 cells. Moreover, steE inhibited NF-κB P65 expression and blocked its translocation to the nucleus by promoting SOCS3 expression. Our results illustrated that steE regulated the expression of Th1/Th2 cytokines via modulation of the STAT3/SOCS3 and NF-κB axis, which might be associated with Th1/Th2 cell differentiation and could, therefore, be a novel therapeutic strategy against salmonellosis.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Monitoring the risk of intussusception after the introduction of rotavirus vaccines is recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO). Although the validity of intussusception monitoring using electronic health records (EHRs) has been confirmed previously, no similar studies have been conducted in China. We aimed to verify the diagnosis and determine an algorithm with the best performance for identification of intussusception using Chinese EHR databases. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS: Using the Regional Health Information Platform in Ningbo, patients aged 0-72 months from 2015 to 2021 with any related visits for intussusception were included. The algorithms were based on diagnostic codes or keywords in different clinical scenarios, and their performance was evaluated with positive predictive value (PPV) and sensitivity in line with the Brighton guidelines. RESULTS: Brighton level 1 intussusception was confirmed in 2958 patients with 3246 episodes. Fine-tuned algorithms combining the appearance of the relevant ICD-10 codes or the Chinese keyword 'Chang Tao' in any diagnostic reports with the results of enema treatments or related surgeries showed the highest sensitivity, while the highest PPV was obtained by further criteria based on typical radiographic appearances. CONCLUSION: Intussusception could be identified and validated internally using EHRs in Ningbo.

RESUMO

Judicious tailoring of the interface between the SnO2 electron-transport layer and the perovskite buried surface plays a pivotal role in obtaining highly efficient and stable perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Herein, a DL-carnitine hydrochloride (DL) is incorporated into the perovskite/SnO2 interface to suppress the defect-states density. A DL-dimer is obtained at the interface by an intermolecular esterification reaction. For the SnO2 film, the Cl- in the DL-dimer can passivate oxygen vacancies (VO ) through electrostatic coupling, while the N in the DL-dimer can coordinate with the Sn4+ to passivate Sn-related defects. For the perovskite film, the DL-dimer can passivate FA+ defects via hydrogen bonding and Pb-related defects more efficiently than the DL monomer. Upon DL-dimer modification, the interfacial defects are effectively passivated and the quality of the resultant perovskite film is improved. As a result, the DL-treated device achieves a gratifying open-circuit voltage (VOC ) of 1.20 V and a champion power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 25.24%, which is a record value among all the reported FACsPbI3 PSCs to date. In addition, the unencapsulated devices exhibit a charming stability, sustaining 99.20% and 90.00% of their initial PCEs after aging in air for 1200 h and continuously operating at the maximum power point tracking for 500 h, respectively.

RESUMO

Cesium lead triiodide (CsPbI3 ) is a promising light-absorbing material for constructing perovskite solar cells (PSCs) owing to its favorable bandgap and thermal tolerance. However, the high density of defects in the CsPbI3 film not only act as recombination centers, but also facilitate ion migration, leading to lower PCE and inferior stability compared with the state-of-the-art organic-inorganic hybrid PSC counterpart. Theoretical analyses suggest that the effective suppression of defects in CsPbI3 film is helpful for improving the device performance. Herein, the stable and efficient γ -CsPbI3 PSCs are demonstrated by developing an acyloin ligand (1,2-di(thiophen-2-yl)ethane-1,2-dione (DED)) as a phase stabilizer and defect passivator. The experiment and calculation results confirm that carbonyl and thienyl in DED can synergistically interact with CsPbI3 by forming a chelate to effectively passivate Pb-related defects and further suppress ion migration. Consequently, DED-treated CsPbI3 PSCs yield a champion PCE of 21.15%, which is one of the highest PCE among all the reported CsPbI3 PSCs to date. In addition, the unencapsulated DED-CsPbI3 PSC can retain 94.9% of itsinitial PCE when stored under ambient conditions for 1000 h and 92.8% of its initial PCE under constant illumination for 250 h.

RESUMO

To reduce safety issues of ginseng products caused by excessive pesticide levels, this paper systematically elucidates the transfer rules of pesticides during processing by calculating the transfer rates and processing factors (PFs). The common methods of ginseng processing (water extraction, alcohol extraction, concentration, water extraction and alcohol precipitation, vacuum drying, freeze drying, spray drying) and 30 pesticides frequently occurring in ginseng were used as research objects. The results indicate that the pesticide residues in alcohol extract are much higher than those in water extract. During water extraction and alcohol precipitation, 93.2% of pesticides are transferred to the upper ethanol solution. Besides, drying could reduce the total amount but increase the concentration of pesticide residues. Water extraction-concentration-spray drying (PF ranges from 0.01 to 0.36) and alcohol extraction-concentration-vacuum drying (PF ranges from 1.10 to 3.70) are the processing methods with the lowest and highest pesticide processing factors, respectively.

RESUMO

All-inorganic CsPbI3 perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have been extensively studied due to their high thermal stability and unprecedented rise in power conversion efficiency (PCE). Recently, the champion PCE of CsPbI3 PSCs has reached up to 21%; however, it is still much lower than that of organic-inorganic hybrid PSCs. Interface modification to passivate surface defects and minimize charge recombination and trapping is important to further improve the efficiency of CsPbI3 PSCs. Herein, a new zwitterion ion is deposited at the interface between electron transporting layer (ETL) and perovskite layer to passivate the defects therein. The zwitterion ions can not only passivate oxygen vacancy (VO ) and iodine vacancy (VI ) defects, but also improve the band alignment at the ETL-perovskite interface. After the interface treatment, the PCE of CsPbI3 device reaches up to 20.67%, which is among the highest values of CsPbI3 PSCs so far. Due to the defect passivation and hydrophobicity improvement, the PCE of optimized device remains 94% of its original value after 800 h storing under ambient condition. These results provide an efficient way to improve the quality of ETL-perovskite interface by zwitterion ions for achieving high performance inorganic CsPbI3 PSCs.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: The association between the administration of vaccines containing diphtheria, tetanus, and acellular pertussis (DTaP) and febrile seizures (FSs) is unclear. This study aimed to evaluate the risk of FSs after the administration of DTaP-containing vaccines in Chinese children aged 1 to 23 months. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS: A self-controlled case series (SCCS) design was adopted based on data from the Ningbo Regional Health Information Platform (NRHIP). The observation period was from 1 to 23 months of age. The relative incidences (RIs) within 0 to 3 days, 4 to 7 days, and 0 to 7 days after the administration of DTaP-containing vaccines were estimated. The remaining observation period was the control period. RESULTS: The RIs within 0 to 3 days, 4 to 7 days, and 0 to 7 days after any dose of DTaP-containing vaccines were 1.14 (95% CI 0.86 to 1.52), 0.89 (95% CI 0.65 to 1.23), and 1.02 (95% CI 0.82 to 1.26), respectively. CONCLUSIONS: This study provides reassuring evidence that there is no increased risk of FSs immediately after the administration of DTaP-containing vaccines, which might serve to reassure both professionals and families with regard to the risk of FSs associated with DTaP-containing vaccines.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancers in women and could be prevented by human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccination. Cervarix, the first available HPV vaccine, has been widely administrated to Chinese women, while little was known about its effect on the prevention and control for HPV related diseases in China. The study aims to assess the impact of Cervarix on HPV infection and cervical related diseases in real world. METHODS: This is a prospective, multi-age birth cohort study to investigate the incidence and continuous status of HPV infection, and relevant cervical diseases by exposure status (with Cervarix vaccination history or without any HPV vaccination history). It is planned to recruit 12,118 eligible women at age of 9 to 45 years from vaccination clinics or hospital outpatient clinics, and then follow up them for three years. The standard questionnaire will be used to collect information such as demographic characteristics, menstruation and obstetrical histories, history of sexual behavior, personal behavior history, history of disease and pathogen infection, medication history, and family history at baseline. After three years, the changes of these behaviors will be investigated again, and other related health status information will be retrieved from the electronic health records during the follow-up period. If available physically and legally, the cervical cancer screening will be performed, including type-specific HPV deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing and contingent thinprep cytologic test (TCT) and colposcopy. The free cervical cancer screening will be captured and uploaded timely to the Yinzhou Regional Health Information Platform (YRHIP); therefore, the long-term outcomes of participants will be monitored. DISCUSSION: This prospective cohort study will assess the impact of HPV vaccine on HPV infection and related cervical diseases in women aged 9-45 years, which makes up for the lack of evidence in Chinese women. The results of this study will provide support for understanding the impact of HPV vaccination in China, and make a contribution to increasing HPV vaccination and cervical cancer screening coverage in China. RESUMO

Response to metformin, first-line therapy for type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), exists interindividual variation. Considering that transporters belonging to the solute carrier (SLC) superfamily are determinants of metformin pharmacokinetics, we evaluated the effects of promoter variants in organic cation transporter 1 (OCT1) (SLC22A1 rs628031), OCT2 (SLC22A2 rs316019), multidrug and toxin extrusion protein 1 (MATE1) (SLC47A1 rs2289669), and MATE2 (SLC47A2 rs12943590) on the variation in metformin response. The glucose-lowering effects and improvement of insulin resistance of metformin were assessed in newly diagnosed, treatment-naive type 2 diabetic patients of Han nationality in Chaoshan China (n = 93) receiving metformin. Fasting plasma glucose (FPG), fasting insulin (FINS), glycated hemoglobin A1 (HbA1C), homeostasis model assessment-insulin sensitivity (HOMA-IS), and homeostasis model assessment-insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) were the main metformin efficacy measurements. There were significant correlations between both SLC47A1 rs2289669 and SLC47A2 rs12943590 and the efficacy of metformin in individuals with T2DM. In normal weight T2DM patients, significant associations between the AA and GG genotypes of the rs2289669 variant of SLC47A1 and a greater reduction in FINS and HOMA-IR were detected. A significant correlation was observed between the AG genotype of the rs12943590 polymorphism of SLC47A2 and a greater reduction in HOMA-IR. Gene-environment interaction analysis showed that in the FINS interaction model, the second-order of dose30_g-SLC47A2 rs12943590 was statistically significant. The variants of SLC47A1 rs2289669 and SLC47A2 rs12943590 could be predictors of insulin resistance in type 2 diabetic patients treated with metformin. The second-order interaction of dose30_g-SLC47A2 rs12943590 may have a significant effect on FINS in patients with T2DM on metformin treatment. These findings suggest that promoter variants of SLC47A1 and SLC47A2 are important determinants of metformin transport and response in type 2 diabetes mellitus.

RESUMO

Suppressing defects at the interface between the TiO2 electron transport layer (ETL) and perovskite film is critical for high efficiency and stable perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Herein, a siloxane derivative diethylphosphatoethylsilicic acid (PSiOH) is developed to modify the interface of TiO2 ETL/FA0.83 Cs0.17 PbI3 perovskite. Comprehensive characteristics reveal that silicon hydroxyl (SiOH) in PSiOH can reduce surface defects, improve the electrical properties and optimize the energy band structure of TiO2 by forming a SiOTi bond, while the phosphate bond (PO) in PSiOH can passivate Pb-related defects on the perovskite bottom surface. Consequently, PSiOH-modified PSCs yield a remarkable power conversation efficiency of 24.20% and improved air, thermal, or illumination stabilities. This study provides insight into passivation defects at the buried interface for efficient and stable PSCs.

RESUMO

In China, a free influenza vaccination policy is being implemented among individuals aged 70 years and over in Zhejiang province during the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective was to assess the effectiveness of influenza vaccine in reducing hospitalization and mortality in the elderly. We used data from the Regional Health Information Platform in Yinzhou located in Zhejiang province and applied a regression discontinuity design to estimate the intention-to-treat effect on admission and mortality rates by month of age in the population who was near the age of 70 years threshold. At age 70 years, the influenza vaccination rate increased by 29.1% (95% CI, 28.2% to 29.9%) compared to those under 70 in the study population. When turning age 70 years, the potential effectiveness of receiving influenza vaccine was 8.2% (95% CI, -36.8% to 51.3%) for total hospitalization and the evaluation of vaccine effectiveness was 13.1% (95% CI, -34.2 to 61.8) for the all-cause mortality. An increase in the influenza vaccination rate was associated with a weak decline in most outcomes, but no significance was found for all outcomes. Influenza vaccination had a limited effect on hospital admission and mortality for the free influenza vaccination program that can be related to the low vaccination rate among the Chinese elderly. Supplementation strategies and future studies may be needed to expand immunization coverage and validate this finding, and further provide a reference for other cities to promote the free influenza vaccination policy in China, especially under circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic.
